Get involved in our community!

At Holy Name of Jesus and St. Alphonsus Liguori we are always looking for our parishioners to get involved in the community. There are various ways that you and your family can be active members of our parish.

We are always looking for members of our parish to be involved in our weekend liturgies to serve as Lectors (Readers), Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Youth Altar Servers, Musicians, Singers, Greeters, Ushers and leaders for our St. Michael's Atrium or Children's Liturgy programs.

Outside of our worship, there are other ways to get involved in our parish community! Volunteers are always welcome for our youth programs, socials after Mass, visiting the sick or shut-in, the Catholic Women's League, Sacramental Preparation Teams, and lots more! What are your gifts that you would be willing to share with our community?

Parish Financial Support:

All parishioners are asked to contribute to the work of our parish community to the best of each of their ability. Our parish community offers four easy ways to help support the parish financially:

1) The traditional box of Sunday Envelopes to contribute weekly at our weekend liturgies by placing them in the Sunday Collection Basket.

2) Signing up for our Pre-Authorized Withdrawal Plan. We will send you a form to fill out - you can set weekly or monthly withdrawals - and you set the amount. Once the form is completed, you attach a void cheque, return the form and cheque to the parish office, and that's it!

3) Online Giving is now available here on our website: www.holynamestalphonsus.com/donate. You can set one-time or monthly donations. We are using the secure CanadaHelps platform.

4) E-Transfers! So simple! You can E-Transfer your donation to our parish email ([email protected]). Please indicate in your message your name, envelope number if you have one, and where your funds should be allocated (ex. “Holy Name of Jesus” or “St. Alphonsus Liguori”)
